Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
DeckPilot collects information needed to provide the features you choose to use. This may include your email address, display name, account identifier, authentication and session tokens, and email verification activity. When you register, DeckPilot sends a one-time verification code to your email address using its service at obscontrol.app. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes; the code is stored temporarily in protected form and is removed after verification or expiry.
If you enable account sync or pairing, we process device names and identifiers, pairing status, last-seen time, and the controller pages, macros, automations, and preferences you choose to sync. Requests to our services may include an IP address and security or diagnostic information.
DeckPilot also records product-usage events, app version, platform, and a rotating app-session identifier to understand feature use and improve the service. These events do not include OBS passwords, scene contents, audio, camera, or microphone data. RevenueCat receives app-user and product identifiers, transaction references, and purchase or entitlement status to verify and restore purchases. Apple App Store and Google Play process payments; DeckPilot does not receive or store your payment card or bank details.
2. Advertising
The Android and iOS apps may show banner and rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share your IP address, app and ad interactions (such as ad views), diagnostics, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. On Android, this may include the Android advertising ID. On iOS, DeckPilot asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before allowing IDFA-based tracking; if you decline, ads can still be shown without personalized tracking. An IP address may be used to estimate general location. Google handles this information under its policies and your device and ad-consent settings.
Watching a rewarded ad is optional. It can unlock temporary Pro access when that offer is available.
3. How information is used and shared
We use information to sign you in, verify your email, sync approved workspaces, connect paired devices, understand product usage, restore purchases, show ads, prevent abuse, and provide support. We do not sell personal information. Information is shared with service providers only as needed to operate these features, including Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In and Play, Google AdMob, Apple App Store, RevenueCat, and Cloudflare Workers.
DeckPilot connects to OBS Studio over your local network. Your OBS password, scene data, audio, camera, and microphone are not sent to our servers merely because you connect to OBS.
4. Storage, security, and retention
Some app settings, layouts, and connection information are stored on your device. Account and sync data are transmitted over HTTPS and access to cloud data is authenticated. Verification codes are temporary; account, pairing, and synced data are retained while needed to provide the service or until a verified deletion request, subject to legal requirements. Google and other providers apply their own retention policies to information they process.
5. Your choices and account deletion
You can manage your Android advertising ID and ad personalization in Android and Google privacy settings. On iOS, you can allow or deny tracking when prompted, or change the choice in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you deny tracking, ads may still appear without personalized tracking. You may request access to or correction or deletion of your personal information. Delete your DeckPilot account in Account settings, or contact us if you cannot sign in. Deleting the account does not cancel a store purchase or subscription; manage those in the relevant store.
6. Children
DeckPilot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services or data practices change. This page was last updated October 27, 2026.
