Frequently asked questions
DeckPilot can't find or connect to OBS
DeckPilot talks to OBS Studio over your local network using the OBS WebSocket server. Check that:
- OBS Studio is open on your computer.
- The WebSocket server is turned on in OBS under Tools → WebSocket Server Settings.
- Your phone or tablet and the OBS computer are on the same Wi‑Fi network or hotspot.
- The port in DeckPilot matches the one in OBS (4455 by default), and the password matches if authentication is on.
- A firewall or VPN on the computer isn't blocking the connection.

The connection keeps dropping
Stay close to your Wi‑Fi router, avoid guest networks that isolate devices from each other, and keep the computer from going to sleep during a stream. DeckPilot reconnects automatically when OBS comes back.
Restoring a purchase
Sign in with the same account you used when you bought DeckPilot Pro, then open Settings and choose Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to your App Store or Google Play account.
Managing or cancelling a subscription
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple or Google, so DeckPilot can't cancel them for you. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. For refunds, contact Apple or Google, which handle all payments.
Deleting your account
You can delete your DeckPilot account in the app under Account settings. If you can't sign in, email us from the address on the account and we'll help. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. See our Privacy Policy for what we store and how long we keep it.
